Foreign brands targeting Japan now have a new top-of-funnel test channel. Early CPM and CTR benchmarks are not yet published, but auction dynamics are expected to mirror Google search initially.

LINE and Yahoo! Display Ads Now Unified
LY Corporation merged LINE Ads and Yahoo! Display Ads into one platform on April 1, 2026. The unified service — LY Ads Display (LINEヤフー広告 ディスプレイ広告) — serves placements across both LINE and Yahoo! JAPAN. LINE Ads will stop ad delivery in late October 2026.

Brands currently running LINE Ads in Japan must complete migration to LY Ads Display before late October 2026 to avoid delivery interruption.
